INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat
oven to 350º
2. In a
Casserole dish ( I use an 8x11) do a layer of 1/2 C. of salsa on bottom of
dish.
3. In a
sauce pan oven medium heat: brown meat then drain off excess grease. Next add
your taco seasoning, 2 C. of remaining salsa and your beans; allow to heat
thru. remove from heat.
4. Now its
time to start layering. There will be a total of 3 layers as following: Noodles
(3) Sour Cream ( about 2/3 C. per layer) Cheese ( about 3/4 C. per layer, will
be an extra 3/4 C. for topping) Thin layer of Meat and Bean sauce ( Divide into
Thirds)
5. Once you
ended in your 3rd layer of meat; cover with aluminium foil and place in the
oven for about 1 hour to 1 1/2. Mine typically takes about 1 hour and 15
minutes.
6. Remove
from oven and immediately uncover to top with your remaining cheese so it can
melt; recover and allow to set for 5 or so minutes before serving.
