Ingredients:

·         4 oz of Ritz or Saltine crackers
·         A cup of unsalted butter
·         A teaspoon of kosher salt
·         A half cup of light brown sugar
·         A quarter cup of maple syrup
·         Two cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
·         A teaspoon of baking soda
·         One and a half of chopped pecans

Directions:

1.      1First of all, prepare the oven by preheating it to 350 degrees of Fahrenheit. Then, prepare a 9 x 13-inch baking pan and line the foil with the non-stick cooking spray. After that, put every single layer of cracker into the bottom of the baking pan, make sure that the cracker cover up the baking pan.
2.      2Prepare a medium saucepan, and put the butter into it. Let it melt over the medium heat. If the butter already melted, you can add the brown sugar, constantly stir and bring it to boil for about 3-4 minutes. Remove the heat and pour it into the prepared cracker immediately. Make sure that the butter mixture spread well over the crackers.
3.      3Then, you can start to bake it for about 10 minutes until it turns bubbly. Remove from the oven, and sprinkle the chocolate chips over it and also spread the chopped pecans. Cool for about 30 minutes, and put it in the refrigerator for awhile until it set.
